The author of the book sparked my interest when I saw her on the Ellen Show a year or so ago. She explained that she had three little babies when she began to write the first book. Maybe I misunderstood or am not remembering, but I thought she had said that she had never thought of writing a book before, but just sat down one day and started to write. It fascinated me that this woman not yet 30 years old writing prolifically while never have written before and having babies on her lap while doing it. Also, I haven’t seen the movies, and assume the actors and romance make people more interested in the series than the actual plot and writing of the book.

The storyline was uninteresting, and had no depth. The writing was below average in comparison to the majority of writers published and non-published. The romance was ridiculous to me. It was way too intense without reason, and all happened so quickly whereas it seemed liked it should have taken more time. I don’t mean that one can’t have a strong crush on someone and think they
