This was the easiest carpet cleaning machine I have ever used. Light weight, large capacity for both clean and dirty water, as easy as vacuuming. Within 30 minutes I had 2 rooms clean and drying, I walked up the stairs with it in my hand and cleaned the 2 carpeted rooms upstairs within another 20 minutes. And only had to refill the water once. If you have ever considered getting your carpets cleaned, buy this unit.
I have a 2 year old black lab so I periodically have to get my carpets cleaned. This one unit, that I have used 3 times in the month I’ve had it, cost less than having a company come out and do the same job ONE time. And it didn’t take 2 hours of having stangers in my home. And I didn’t have to wait 24 hours for my carpets to dry. I rented a carpet cleaner from a local store, it was incredibly bulky and heavy. I could barely get it in my car, let alone carry it up stairs. I had to fill it 4 times just to do 3 rooms. And it took hours.

The Forerunner 305 is my new best running buddy and coach. It was flawless and idiot proof right out of the box. I travel extensively. I can strap it on and start whatever workout I have in my plan, regardless of location. The Forerunner tracks and prompts my pace, splits, fartleks, hills, whatever. The Training Center software is easy and intuitive. The ability to download my runs to my laptop allows me to enter specifics on each run and creates a travel log of my running adventures. I have knocked minutes off of my 5k and 10k times just by wearing the 305. It greatly decreases the effort required to improve and train smarter and more consistently. The only downside I have found thus far is that I cannot print out a summary page for each workout. I would like to be able to include the run pages with my photos in my travel journals.

This book is a tool of Satan. The author claims that it was inspired by God, which is nonsense because most of it is in direct conflict with what God has revealed in His Word, the Bible. There is only one “version” of Christianity and that is found in the Bible. If you are interested in what God thinks, I would suggest reading the Bible, it is full of God’s thoughts. If you are interested in reading books about the Bible, based on the Bible, I would suggest, for starters, “What Jesus Demands from the World” by John Piper. Please don’t waste your time on any of Mr. Walsch’s books. Burn them! – they are too dangerous to throw in the trash.

If I was given three wishes, one of the would be to erase this book from my brain so I could read it again. Amazing.

I researched vaccuums for about 2 hours before deciding on this one. I wanted a bagged vaccuum b/c it seemed that the bagless created more mess when you empty them and a lot of them have expensive HEPA filters to replace. I wanted to spend less than $100 also. I decided to play the odds and get this vaccuum. So far I have only used it once, but it works amazing. It sucks stuff up powerfully on my laminate floors and on my high-pile area rugs. You can even change the level of the vaccuum based on the floor type. When you select high pile, it’s easy to vaccuum flimsy area rugs. I am very VERY happy with my purchase and just hope that it keeps up for the next few years. I definitely recommend this vaccuum. It is lightweight, easy to put together, and overall really easy to use.

This is what happaned when I tried to use this drive on an otherwise stable Windows 2000 system:
The Iomega Tools installer demanded an immediate restart as soon as it completed.
The system hung on restart and had to be power-cycled.
A new item called ‘active disk’ appeared in the system tray on successful restart. There was nothing indicating it had anything to do with Iomega at all.
The Iomega entry on the Programs menu had nothing in it but a couple of web links (’help’ and ‘update’).
I was able to read a pre-recorded Zip disk with no problems, however, when I tried to eject the disk (using the right-click menu item), Windows flung a bunch of panicked popups, yelling at me for disconnecting hardware without going through the “safely disconnect hardware” interface — it basically acted as though I’d unceremoniously yanked out the USB cable while the drive was still spinning. Then it vomited up one of those always-delightful “Unrecognized exception” error popups, and promptly hung.
When I used this drive with an OSX system, every time I tried to eject a disk, the drive spun for over a minute before spitting out the disk.
This is all mysterious. I never had these kinds of problems with the SCSI Zip drives.
In any case, at $10 a pop, the Zip media format has been effectively eclipsed by writable CDs and DVDs.

I take my time before buying things and for a couple of years I had been joking about buying an XBox. When the time to buy came, I researched and decided on a Wii. It exceeded anything I could have expected. The two points which sold me are 1) you have to get up off the couch and get active to play and 2) the focus isn’t so much on violence, blood and killing. I’m a senior citizen and my daughter picked this up for me. We played it until our arms were numb and she is looking to get her own Wii so we can play on-line. I check the daily weather and news stories on my Wii and my friends and I will soon start a bowling league. For the price, you can’t beat this system. If I were paying 50 cents for every game I played, it would have paid for itself in a month or two. The software selection is great and the prices are reasonable. I rate the Wii right up there with the Internet and the ATM. Get yours and you’ll see.

I took an instant dislike to the title character, and the more I read, the less I liked him. It is easy to see the appeal to a certain age group: the kid is smart, he has resources, and he has his own private goon squad to sic on anyone who displeases him. The author has created a sociopathic little monster with the moral compass of a pit viper. Great role model for the younger set! Every once in a while, the author tries to insert something to make us like Artemis better. He loves his mommy – so have most of the serial killers in real life. Now and then he questions (sort of) what he is doing, then he goes ahead and does it anyways. His victims in the first book are the fairies, and I give the author credit for a nice take on the little people – I was rooting for them all the way. If it hadn’t been for this imaginative portrayal, I would have been looking for a way to give this book a negative star rating. The story is well written, which makes the subject matter even more appalling. I will not be purchasing any more books in the series.
