I have two dogs, and let’s face it, dogs have accidents, and they don’t wipe their feet when they come in the house. And though I have hardwood floors for that reason, I do have rugs on them. I have been thinking about buying a steam vac for a while now, and finally took the plunge with this one. The price was right and with Prime, 2-day shipping was free! (Yay! I love Prime! Amazon should pay me I promote it all the time.) Getting the vac out of the box and putting it together was a little bit of a pain in the rear, but once it was put together, it was very easy to use. I took other reviewers’ suggestions and pre-boiled the water for the “clean” tank. I was able to do a thorough cleaning of one 9′x12′ rug and an 8′x10′ rug using less than one tank of clean solution (some left over when I was done) and only dumping the “dirty” tank once at the end. Even though my rugs are only about 6 months old, I was shocked to see how dirty and gross the water was that came out of them! Everyone who hasn’t cleaned their rugs in a while should think about doing it soon. Now that I have this steam vac, I plan to clean my rugs every month or so to keep them looking and smelling great. I used to have a small Bissell but it was a huge pain to use (required constant refilling and emptying of tanks) and all the attachments were all over the place, hence, it never got used and eventually went to Goodwill. I love how this vac has a place to store all the attachments ON the vac.

Great toy, couldn’t jail break so I sent it back.
Got it to put Skype on it, cant receive calls unless Skype is running.
Cant keep Skype running in sleep mode, so cant use it as cell within wifi unless you jailbreak.
Everyone says I should have been able to jailbreak, I am thinking that some update on the newest ones prevents you.
On all the third generation ones that you do end up jail-breaking you, everything resets on the device if you turn it off.
Will buy a second generation one off of eBay, jail break and keep Skype always running.
