Twilight by Stephenie Meyer deserves five stars for beauty and teenage romance that has been heard all around the world. It gives a pretty good example of a regular teenage girl, that, suddenly takes a change of everything in her life when she meets the beloved Edward Cullen. This book was recommended to me by a friend before the phenomenon started with the series. I would have to say that Twilight deserves its fame for capturing so many women and yes, even men, to either hate, like or love this novel. You could be a hater of this book, or a lover. Either way, Stephenie Meyer has magic in her fingers for writing Twilight and making it so popular and heard all around the world.

This watch is a must have for all serious runners.I was able to log about 5,000 miles before my last 305 quit working. The battery will last about 10 hours before it needs to be recharged. The heart rate monitor took a little while for me to get use to wearing, but it is a neat addition to the watch.

once again, a writer without talent, finds that they can hit the money jar by exploiting the trials of black americans during a time of difficulty. it is an odd thing how many of these books the publishing community pumps out. book after book in which one, incredibly naive but just wanting to help, white person finds themselves siding with blacks in order to self-genuflect and commit themselves to the pantheon of the “englightened.”

one can look backwards but it is only designed to hit that money jar. were i a black american i would find the endless, we are white and we are here to help you disgusting and abhorrent (see…ronald reagan, “the most dangerous words in the english language, ‘we are from the government and we are here to help you”). the publishing industry is comprised of elite, ivy leagued white people who have so little originality, that returning to the “black experience” is irresistable. the concept of something original, and creative, is just too difficult to imagine for these people. again, were i black, one would think that books about bucking up the black community to make it competitive (see…bill cosby) would be of much greater use than the continued, but oh so easy to exploit, racism of years gone past.

just as with the recent academy award winning movie, the blind side, the black community should be insulted by these projects. as long as the “victim” is embraced, one cannot be a winner. while hollywood and the publishing industry make money off of these ridiculous exploitive projects, the american black remains, a loser.

course, the only thing white liberals can’t resist, is once again, like thelittle sucker fish they are, attaching themselves to the black community for their own personal self-aggrandizing deification (we are white and we are here to “help” you). oh me oh my, what would white liberals do should the american black community abandon victimization for competitive realization? the publishing industry would probably go broke,

This is the first time I have bought a scale in years, the one I have is like my mothers and she’s in her eighties. The scale is elegant and contemporary in design, has a great back-lit display and gives me ounces as well as pounds. I couldn’t be happier with the scale, simply love it and would highly recommend.

I have to admit I’ve held off on reading this series for a long time. I had mixed feelings about it. I thought it wouldn’t be very good and since it was a YA (young adult) novel I thought it wouldn’t hold my interest. I finally broke down and started reading it, boy was I wrong! Stephanie Meyer is an excellent author she truly amazes me. I felt like I was right there with the characters and I could feel every emotion they had. I hated to see the book end although they are fairly long I was longing for them to be even longer than they were. I didn’t want them to end. All the books in the series are terrific! I was so unhappy when I finished the last book because I had no more to read. I really miss the characters and being so absorbed in the books. I hope she writes another one soon. I just can’t believe it took me so long to enjoy this series. I’m in my mid 30’s and I thought the books were wonderful please don’t miss out!! You can enjoy them at any age.
