The Defender is a great product and offers a much higher level of protection than any other case I’ve seen, but it’s not foolproof. I have probably dropped my iphone about 20 times since got it in Nov. However, on Christmas eve I had it laying in my lap and stood up. My iphone dropped to the tile floor and when I picked it up the LCD screen was white with blue and red lines running the length of the screen on the right side. I took it to a repair shop and had to have the screen replaced. I too have the oil slick issue but its not a big deal to me. The biggest problem is the reason that I have dropped it so much is that every time I have it in the belt clip and happen to bump the belt clip even with my arm or hand the phone will fall out of the clip. Since the screen replacement and the belt clip issue I just carry it in my pocket. I work construction and have pretty much ruined or broken every phone I’ve had, but thought that this case would maybe help this one survive. Sorry folks but the jury is still out.

I like this book since it show that a 12 year old boy is really smart. Like how Artemis know where the fairies be when they have to renew there magic. What I dont like about this book is that they be talking about one charcter all of a sudden they switch to someone else and tell them about themselves. Like when Artemis is about capture a fairy. They go to Captain Short point of view. the other thing is that it have a prologue and a epilogue. So we know a bit about themself and what is going on.

I bought a Kindle to save money on purchasing books and to not have to store so many of the ones I love to read over and over, as well as for travel. However, in the 8 months I have owned the Kindle, I have seen the availability of newly released books on kindle decline, and the price of each book (some MORE than the hardcover price) increase dramatically. With all the new mediums of e-books out there and coming in the future, I’d hold off on a Kindle purchase until Amazon can get their act together with new book release availability and pricing.
