Pros:
1) Works well. Had no problems of any sort (yet).
2) Memory transfer fast enough to take large pictures (~3MB each) in my camera’s “Burst” mode (~1.3 pictures per second).

I’ve owned all kinds of carpet machines, from little hand-helds to a monster commercial RinseNVac (that cost a small fortune) and I have to say, this relatively inexpensive one handily outperforms them all. I wouldn’t say that it’s up to commercial use because *everything* that could be made of plastic *is* plastic, however with normal household use, I don’t expect to have any problems with breakage. It’s robust enough to stand up to normal handling.
There are a few things that are important to me in carpet cleaning: 1) Does it get the carpet clean? Yep. If you use hot water and the right amount of detergent, you’ll do as well as any more exotic machine with this one. (While this has nothing to do with the choice of machine, I find that premixing some detergent with some Clorox-2 and applying to problem areas with a brush (don’t soak it) will often get things out that the machine in normal use will not.) 2) Is it easy to fill and drain? Yep. Very easy if you just tilt back the handle against a wall or table while you’re changing tanks. The top tank snaps in and out in a second. The bottom tank unlocks with two easy to use tabs. The two tanks stack securely for easy carrying. Even more importantly, IT DOESN’T DRIP EVERYWHERE!! This is the first carpet machine I’ve had that doesn’t make a mess dripping everywhere during tank changes. The dirty water tank lid comes off for easy dumping. The detergent tank fills through a large hole. It couldn’t be easier. 3) Does it have enough static vacuum to pull the water out of the carpeting? Yep. They don’t specify the static water lift of the motor/fan, but it’s strong enough to extract nearly all the water that goes in. If the atmospheric dew point is reasonably low (40s or less, let’s say) and you use a fan to circulate air over the just cleaned area, you should expect to be able to use the area in a matter of two or three hours. Digital King Fish eye
I have to admit, i didn’t want to read this book. I read the 1st chapter to appease my daughter, and 1 chapter is all it took. I got so wrapped up in Stephenie Meyer’s extremely detailed writing about the main (human) character, Bella, that i felt like i was actually in the story. I found myself wanting to read “just one more page” before putting the book down. I fell asleep reading the book every night until i finished it. I have read it 5 more times since then. I love the connection between Bella (human girl) and Edward (vampire guy). To put a twist on things, Bella becomes best friends with Jacob, who is a werewolf (more a shapeshifter than actual werewolf). Needless to say, Jacob wants to be with Bella, and the love triangle is formed. Both male characters have such adoring qualities, that it makes it difficult to decide who we want to see Bella with. That said, there is so much more to this series than just a love triangle. There is lots of action and fight scenes as well. I can’t praise this series enough.

Lost my HDMI cable in a move and was shocked to see how much these things cost! Too a chance on this low-price version, plugged it in, and it worked like a champ. That was a few months ago and it’s still going strong. If you need a good HDMI cable, give this one a shot!

I have it connected to my home wired network and am streaming movies from a Microsoft file server.
I am streaming the following files with PERFECT results:
1080p – MP4 with DTS in MKV container (PERFECT!)
720p – MP4 with DTS in MKV container (PERFECT!)
1080p – MP4 with AC3 in MKV container (PERFECT!)
720p – MP4 with AC3 in MKV container (PERFECT!)
1080p – XVID with AC3 in AVI container (PERFECT!)
720p – XVID with AC3 in AVI container (PERFECT!)
480p – XVID with DTS in AVI container (PERFECT!)
480p – XVID with AC3 in AVI container (PERFECT!)
I had many issues streaming initially using Window Media Player then TVersity to an Xbox. HD videos kept stalling with either solution. Also the fact that the Xbox could not stream my HD MKV movies it was annoying! Using TVersity to decode and re-encode MKV to the Xbox requires a fast computer and not the cleanest way of watching MKV files. Also, response to remote control works nice a fast!! Much faster than Xbox. Boot up time is almost instant!!!!
For some reason setting the video color to 12bits in the HDMI setting causes issues where the movies will stall. Also manually setting the HDMI video to the resolution and refresh rate of your TV seems to help. For example mine is set to 1080p with 60hz.
WD Live is so good I bought 2 more (one for sister and another for my mother).
The only improvement I would like is the ability to set a Favorites/Bookmark Folder so that it’s quicker to navigate to my movies located in my server. Right now I need to dig down several layers down to access my movies.
Western Digital WD TV
I have a husky shepherd mix. This worked amazing on her fur!! My only complaint is you have to be careful not to push too hard or their skin will become red and sore. She loved when I was brushing her though and practically fell asleep while I was doing it. I filled a grocery bag full of hair!
